Hi, I’m Elyse Madlener, a photographer based on the beautiful island of Bonaire.
I love unorganized structure, adventure, and discovering new places. When something stays the same for too long, I get restless. Yet I also appreciate clarity, control, and overview. This is also reflected in my photography. I'm always looking for different perspectives and new things to learn, but with a solid foundation, an eye for detail, and a love of color and spontaneous moments.
My passion for photography started while traveling. At that time, I was looking for a way to share the beautiful places and people we encountered with others. From the grand, expansive mountain landscapes to the small moments of everyday life.
I have a soft spot for framed views, small details, beautiful light, and sparkling eyes. Whether it's because a child just covered their face in cake or because they made mom laugh out loud, capturing spontaneous moments and the connection between people is what I'm always looking for.
Besides photography and travel, I also love good food and wine! And off course combining all of these!
